7.Install anti-theft devices in your car. In fact, install some visible devices like steering lock to discourage the burglars form towing away your car.
8.Always park your car with its wheels turned sideways. And use the emergency brake at the time of parking. The burglar may have difficulties in driving it away if these methods are applied.
9.Try to park your car in a well lit parking lot. Avoid parking it at the shady areas or parking places that are unattended.
10.Never leave your keys at the ignition point or at the running condition. You are only making their job easy this way.
11.If you have a removable hi-tech device installed in your car take it along with you whenever your leave the car.
12.Etched the VIN of the car at the windshield, engine etc. to protect it from getting sold for the parts. It’ll also help the police to recover the vehicle.
13.Leave your car in a locked garage at night.
14.Keep a copy vehicle registration and title at home and make the information available to the police at the time of need.
15.Install a vehicle tracking device in your car. It’ll increase its chances of getting recovered after the theft.
